L'Arche
For the last 13 years, I have spent part of every summer and winter break living at a l'Arche community in northern Quebec. We aim to provide a caring and supportive community for the 12 core members and 70+ activity participants in the region living with intellectual disabilities. My life at l'Arche involves everything from cooking meals to water fights, all in the name of modeling a more human society where every life has equal value.
